Good decisions deserve good outcomes.

Making the right decision is only the beginning. Turning it into meaningful business results requires continued judgement, alignment and a willingness to challenge what isn't working.

I work alongside executives and leadership teams responsible for important commercial and organisational initiatives, bringing an experienced, independent perspective to help them achieve the outcomes they set out to deliver.

What the role involves

It varies with what is needed: helping maintain clarity and alignment, thinking through obstacles and dependencies, challenging decisions as circumstances change, and keeping momentum behind the work.

A large part of it is spotting early the misalignments and tensions that slow progress, and making sure important conversations are not postponed.

I also check that the people side is set up to deliver: clear responsibilities, the right people on the right parts, and the skills the work actually demands. Where those are missing, I say so early and set out the options — which might mean bringing the capability in, moving the work, or adjusting what is realistic, while building the skills the team will need next time.

And if circumstances change enough that the decision itself needs revisiting, my role is to say so early rather than let the work drift.

Who it is for

Sometimes an entire leadership team. Sometimes one executive carrying responsibility for a significant project or change, who needs an experienced partner rather than another pair of hands.

I am not there to run the initiative or to take the accountability. I am there so that the person who carries it has someone alongside them who has done it before.

Execution Partner works as a monthly retainer, scoped and quoted for each engagement — depending on the initiative, how long it runs and how much involvement it needs.
